Bringing Cuba Closer – Sexteto’s Album Cover Design

“Put on your red shoes and dance …” Sexteto is an extraordinary ensemble of salsa musicians, bringing the vibrant energy of Cuba to life.

We had the pleasure of designing the album cover for this fabulous band, drawing inspiration directly from the streets of Havana. The rough yet elegant warmth of the city, the textures of its crumbling facades, and the sun-soaked atmosphere all played a role in shaping the artwork.

The cover photo, taken in Havana, captures this essence – reminiscent of an old newspaper print, magnified and sun-drenched to perfection. Just like the music, it brings Cuba a little closer, wherever you are.
