The Wizard’s Cookbook – A Culinary Masterpiece

The Wizard is cookin’! The fantastic Michelin-starred chef Ronny Emborg set out to publish The Wizard’s Cookbook, a stunning collection of recipes that transform food into breathtaking works of art.

As one of Denmark’s most renowned chefs, and a star on the international culinary scene, Ronny Emborg is celebrated for his technical precision and extraordinary visual style, making guests wonder if they are presented with food or art – a talent that has earned him the nickname The Wizard.

In 2013, we at Bonnelycke mdd designed The Wizard’s Cookbook – a project that immediately won Best Chef Cookbook in Denmark and qualified for the Gourmand Best in the World competition in Beijing presented in May 2014 during the annual Bejing Cookbook Fair.

While Ronny Emborg was crafting, testing, and perfecting his recipes, Signe Birck captured them through her lens, and Rasmus Kramer Schou refined the written words. Meanwhile, we designed the iconic R logo, developed the graphic style, selected the perfect paper, rendered the backgrounds, and handled a few other design details.

Then, with a flick (or perhaps several) of our magic graphic stick, we brought everything together before handing it over to Narayana Press, who meticulously reviewed every page and worked their printing and binding magic.
