Kilsgaard Sun – Carving into the Third Dimension

For the 2014 Kilsgaard Sun collection, we quite literally designed the frames in another dimension.

Since we design in (at least) three dimensions – and our milling machines are more than capable of keeping up – we thought, why not push the limits? By “carving” into the material itself, we’ve created an even more distinctive expression.

You could say we’ve finally explored the third dimension in the designs, rather than just using 3D to visualise them …
