For the 2014 collection of Kilsgaard Sun’s we designed the frames in one more dimension, so to speak. Since we do design in 3 dimensions, at least, and the milling machines are capable of milling in 3 dimensions, at least, we thought why not try to “carve” into the material, to create an even more characteristic design. Actually you could say that we finally explored the 3rd dimension in the design’s themselves, and not merely used 3D to visualise them …
