Exploring the Third Dimension – Kilsgaard Sunglasses

For the 2014 collection of Kilsgaard Sun’s, we took frame design one step further – into the third dimension, so to speak.

Since we already design in 3D (at the very least), and the milling machines are more than capable of working in 3D, we thought: why not carve into the material itself? The result? An even more distinctive, characterful design.

You could say that we finally explored the third dimension within the design, rather than just using 3D to visualise it…
