The Rømer kitchen is strongly inspired from the colourful kitchen of Latin America – when the servings are on your table you’ll notice that, and yes “servings” is the correct term since most Rømer dishes are really more than one and meant to share.
To complement the Rømer dishes, we worked with a lot of different materials, textures, colours and settings – natural oak, burned metal, galvanized metal, natural stone, transparent curtains, glass, bespoke neon signposts, five different chairs and much, much more …
A mess or a mix, well we think a mix … paying a lot of attention to every detail, from the smallest door handle to the “mist” of floating Dee pendants throughout the 250 square meter restaurant and the MIB spots accentuating every table … and since the Clemens Bridge granite foundation penetrates the room we even incorporated that into the design of Rømer …
Speaking of details, we also designed the bend neon toilet signs, bespoke napkins, the new Rømer logo, the menus …
Please enjoy this gallery and enjoy Rømer when you visit …
