A Dramatic Café and Restaurant Design in Aarhus

Located on Banegårdspladsen, Café Opera is a seamless fusion of Italian charm and contemporary design, offering an inviting space that feels both sophisticated and relaxed. Designed by Bønnelycke MDD, the interior reflects the essence of a modern Italian café, where warm materials, elegant lighting, and carefully curated details create a welcoming atmosphere.

Rich textures and deep colours set the tone, with bespoke furniture and soft carpets adding to the sense of comfort. The dramatic lighting design enhances the intimate and social character of the space, making it equally suited for a quick espresso or long, lingering conversations. An open, flowing layout ensures a natural connection between the different areas, while refined details in wood, brass, and stone add layers of authenticity and timeless appeal.
