Coming just after the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and South Korea, The Gori Project brings together 2 renowned traditional South Korean musicians with 3 of Denmark’s most established jazz performers. 
Led by Danish bassist and composer Torben Westergaard, the album fuses together two diverse sets of instruments, styles, harmonies and melodies into a new cultural expression.

The album cover had to combine the Korean and Danish “feeling” as well as keywords like relation, collaboration, correlation, friendship, fellowship, variations, differences etc. Still it had to be recognised as a Torben Westergaard album, so we transformed Torben’s logo into graphic which (hopefully) includes the above mentioned. Did we succeed ? We think so.
