Jazz Brazil Album & Single Cover Design

Jazz Brazil grew out of Torben Westergaard’s lifelong fascination with Brazilian music and its natural affinity with jazz. Sophisticated harmonies and rhythms meet Torben’s melodic compositions, performed by a group of musicians and long-time friends with deep roots in both musical traditions.

For the album and single covers, we looked back to the distinctive visual language of classic jazz album artwork. Bold typography, simple compositions and strong graphic elements reference the golden age of jazz, reinterpreted with colours and details that reflect Torben’s own musical universe and the Brazilian character of the album.

And as always when it comes to Torben’s albums, we highly recommend listening to the album on your favourite streaming service.
