Holmezen Website

Holmezen brings together psychotherapist Ane Albrektsen’s work with Lars Schuster’s extensive expertise in Japanese acupuncture and Asian medicine. Together, their work creates a shared setting for treatments, therapy, postgraduate training, courses and workshops – a place for both professional development and shared learning.

Our work for Holmezen grew naturally out of our collaboration with Lars and has included the logo, website, signage and other visual communication. We developed a warm and welcoming visual identity that reflects the character of Holmezen itself – deliberately different from the more clinical expression of Lars Schuster’s own website.

Set in beautiful natural surroundings overlooking the sea, Holmezen has a peaceful and informal atmosphere. Its large, light-filled teaching space provides the setting for courses, workshops and practical training, and the website opens with the expansive view from the room, allowing the landscape and sense of tranquillity to become an integral part of the visual expression.

The restrained graphic design provides a simple framework for the landscape, the people and the activities at Holmezen, bringing together professional knowledge, learning and a strong sense of place.
